Pastor Wendell and his wife Lisa are native to Portland, Oregon. At the age of 27 after a vivid “God dream,” responding to God in faith and obedience, Pastor Wendell left the banking industry and began working as an associate Pastor of Mt. Olivet student ministries. In continued obedience to Christ he, his wife and three little children left Portland to live in Ponce Puerto Rico as the first full-time missionaries of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church in partnership with Ambassadors Fellowship. Wendell and Lisa later founded Reaching the Nations, a non-profit mission outreach to East African and West Africa.
In 2009 Wendell and Lisa left Puerto Rico and began their new life in Atlanta Georgia where Wendell joined the 410 Bridge an international Christian development organization. He served 410 Bridge for 5 years as the US Program Director for Haiti and Honduras. In 2017 they moved back to the Pacific NW where Pastor Wendell worked as the Senior Program Officer for Forward Edge International, providing oversight for their child-focused, community development programs in Haiti, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Mexico.
He is currently the Senior Pastor of Mt. Olivet Baptist Church A.K.A “The Mount.” Pastor Wendell is the author of Kingdom Moments, a revivalist, visionary, strategic-thinker, and an accomplished communicator in both Spanish and English.
